Focused on the placement and broking of commercial and corporate cases, this is a key role with regards to attacking new business and defensive market reviews – as Account Broker you’ll move towards greater market interaction and a role where you’ll be allowed to think for yourself.

As an Account Broker, you will:

  • Contribute to the design and placement of bespoke insurance programmes in competitive situations – these are often complex, and your skill is finding the tactical advantage to win or protect revenue.
  • Work alongside an experienced, knowledgeable Account Executive team, and regional management on their caseloads, pulling together reports, presentations, programmes and holding negotiations with the insurer market.
  • Receive a base salary of up to £40,000 as well as bonus, package and very real career opportunities in a growing team and a progressive firm.
  • Enjoy a grown up working environment where contribution is encouraged. There is scope to work remotely for up to 50% of the week and real autonomy in your working day.

You

  • An experienced Account Handler, Account Broker or Placing Broker seeking a greater challenge and increased market exposure.
  • You’ll enjoy working on a variety of cases and lines of business, particularly the less ‘vanilla’ cases.
