We are recruiting an Asset Management Officer for local authority clients in Essex: a Civica Keystone Asset Management database specialist. To provide support during project work and to equip the database to manage the increasing scale of Compliance work required in preparation for the new Asset Management Strategy:

Responsibilities

To support the collection and maintaining of asset management data and assessment of information to inform the strategic development of capital works investment and redevelopment options examining how to improve existing partnership working, benchmark performance and develop service excellence:

Qualification – Essential

GCSE’s or equivalent to include Maths and English

Relevant professional level qualification

Educated to a high standard and possess excellent written and numerical skills or relevant experience

Advanced user -Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media

Essential – Skills,

* Significant track-record of operating in a technical, property services environment,

* Experience operating and maintaining careful asset management and related stock data

* Experience in utilising Civica IT systems within a local authority, housing association, government body, private developer or agency or similar

* Experience in effective multi-disciplinary working

* Experience in using and maintaining Keystone asset management database for the management of all managed assets, servicing and asbestos management modules and related modules

* Experience working effectively within a complex political environment and evidence of delivering and monitoring clear standards of performance and service delivery outcomes

* Experience in working on defined operational projects, working to tight deadlines and objectives with minimum supervision

* Ability to have or acquire an excellent working knowledge of all elements of asset management, stock management, servicing regimes and asbestos management

* Ability to have and maintain and have a thorough and up to date knowledge of relevant policy and strategy areas

* To be a confident, engaging communicator and positively handle contact with clients from a range of backgrounds and with complex needs

* Have the ability to build and maintain a good understanding of the broader department objectives, and experience of how these interface with the delivery of housing services

* Proven ability to work with Microsoft Excel, explicitly manipulating data in conjunction with understanding database use.

Salary: £320.00 per Day- Inside IR35

Location: Essex

Hours: 36.00 hours per week

Duration: 3 months – TBC after that
