Smart Solutions are recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join our client based in Aberdare on a permanent basis. Working alongside the General Manager, the Bookkeeper will support with all bookkeeping duties to help with the smooth daily operation of the business whilst also being a key contact to subcontractors, suppliers and building strong relationships within the workplace

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

* Purchase & sales ledger

* Completing VAT returns

* Managing company credit card payments

* Query resolution on outstanding credit queries and credit control

* Completing CIS returns

* Completing VAT returns

* Filing of all necessary paperwork to support year end preparation

* Ensuring all paperwork up to date and compliant

* Preparing company reports for outside organisations

* Reconciling supplier statements and chasing missing invoices

Experience & Skills Required

* Experience with Sage/ Xero

* Previous experience in bookkeeping

* AAT qualified preferred

* Analytical/ systematic approach to work

* Excellent communicator

* Computer literate.
