Currently undergoing an aggressive growth across the UK and beyond, an exciting diagnostics biotech, whom were heavily involved (with the backing of the UK government) with the manufacture and deployment of COVID-19 kits, are on the lookout for a seasoned member of the medical devices/ in-vitro diagnostics/ molecular biology industry, specialising in complaints management!

As an international specialist in cancer and infectious diseases, they support a global customer base, supplying diagnostic products used in a wide range of research areas, including oncology, haematology, serology and microbiology.

Your new role

* Using your background knowledge with in-vitro diagnostics (IVD)/ medical device products, you will be responsible for the management of Customer Complaints investigation and documentation for the clients’ range of products.

* You will be responsible for managing a growing team, evaluating, investigating, and resolving complaints. Also, managing day-to-day activities related to the complaint process to ensure priorities are set appropriately for the timely completion of tasks.

* You will contribute to product safety and quality, and customer satisfaction related decisions (both data-driven and risk assessment-based decisions).

What you’ll need to succeed

* You will have direct experience handling complaints in the in-vitro diagnostics/ medical devices/ molecular biology industry.

* You will have the ability to lead and influence without authority in a continuously growing team.

* You will have sound knowledge of key quality processes (e.g. CAPA, complaint investigation, and field action process), and medical device regulations, requirements, and standards.

* Experience with participation in internal/external inspections (e.g. FDA and Notified Bodies) is an advantage.
