Head of Operations and Client CareReports to: Chief Executive OfficerHours: 30 per weekSalary: 43,962 pro rata (actual 35,170)Contract: Permanent Holiday: 30 days (pro rata) plus bank holidays (pro rata)Staying Put is an empowering domestic abuse and sexual violence charity that supports women, men and children who are survivors, working across the Bradford area.

The charity has gone from strength to strength with their power move in 2019. The dynamic multi-agency partnership with 3 organisations;
Family Action, Staying Put and Women Centre encouraged the development of a ‘one system approach’ to support families affected by domestic and sexual violence.

Charity people are delighted to be working with Staying Put to find their next Head of Operations and Client Care, who will work closely with the CEO and front-line managers. The right candidate will champion the charity’s vision to lead the way in quality service provision to remove the barriers that prevent people from speaking out and seeking help.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO, you will support with leading the future development of the charity with the providing high-quality and safe services to survivors. This is an exciting opportunity for someone willing to drive the organisational culture of engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

This role will shape the daily co-ordination and management of all services, based on a collaborative team approach which is influenced by all staff.Main Duties* You will adapt to the nature of the charity in the absence of the CEO and provide strategic and operational leadership.

* You will support the Quality, Safeguarding and Governance Manager to manage budgets, optimise costs and design policies and programmes which align with the overall strategy.* You will collaborate with the HR Manager to implement professional recruitment processes and accessible onboarding for all staff.

You will mentor and motivate teams to achieve high standards and enhance engagement.* You will work closely and network within key partnerships and relevant agencies;
Survive and Thrive partners, Family Action and WomenCentre,* You will act as ambassador, lobbying for improvements in services and promote public awareness of issues regarding its effect on women, men and children through local, regional and national networks.

We are seeking someone with the ability to work strategically and operationally with excellent planning, implementation and project management skills.
