Position : COO Performance Manager

My client are an award-winning financial technology company based in the heart of beautiful Bath. They provide

Financial Advisers with the technology, trading capabilities and service to help deliver great customer

outcomes to their clients. They are determined to deliver technology that will keep them at the forefront of Intelligent Wealth Management and are building a modern scalable and flexible microservices architecture to help them to achieve that goal.

About the role

As part of the Operations Leadership Team, reporting directly to the COO ,you’ll be accountable for providing insight and reporting to the business on performance and the progression against strategy across Operations. This will cover Transformation and Change, Adviser and Customer Operations, Facilities Management, 1st line Operational Risk, MI development, CASS, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and COO People Engagement and Strategy. The role holder will also be expected to lead small to medium-sized initiatives on behalf of the COO.

Key Responsibilities.

Execute and Support changes to the operating model to make sure the business is at the forefront

with future demands proactively addressed

Work in a collaborative and cross-functional way to translate data in lessons and learnings that

drive decision making

Champion the use of data to derive commercial insights and drive action, ensuring customer and

marketing trends are at the heart of every business decision

Facilitate the planning process of operation business performance initiatives, including

documentation of key focus areas, goals cascade support, and tracking goals accomplishments

Work with CPO / HR to drive and enhance COO People Engagement and Strategy

Creating awareness of risks/opportunities and cascade as appropriate

Regular monthly MI, scorecard reporting to senior leadership

Regularly report progress on key priorities to senior leadership

Specialist Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Ability to work independently with a sense of accountability/ownership

Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor the message to

the audience or varying levels

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise demands across a

wide range of tasks and initiatives

Results driven with proven ability to collaborate across functional areas, developing relationships and

driving agendas

Ability to interact at all levels and be effective as part of a broader team

Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite and collaboration tools

Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint able to develop presentations for senior

management

Accuracy and attention to detail is fundamental to being successful in the role

2-3 years of experience as business management, COO support, project management, or risk

management
