***HOT NEW JOB***: Production Scheduler/Planner- Colne Lancashire (BB8) £30,000-£38,000 per annum dependent on experience

After a major international buy out our client based in Nelson are looking for an experienced Production Planner/Scheduler to join as fast moving and very innovative organization.

The role will involve completing production schedules 2-3 times week.

Answering order support questions, prebuilt ordering, working with production planning for problem orders, working with dealers, working with production for rush orders, gallery openings, etc., running reports for Shipping and Production.

Other logistics duties as assigned including assisting other departments with production, quality, and logistics in providing information as requested by them.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

• Scheduling work orders for plants, running reports, delayed units coordination, and logistics duties

• Delivering the weekly analysis and workload for production.

• Inventory tracking for pre-builts and re-classed units. Coordinating these units coming in and shipments

• Answering any order support questions

• Coordinating with production on rush orders, special requests, delayed orders and grand opening orders

• Running and distributing various reports to production and logistics

• Working with Headquarters production planning, dealers and distribution centers on orders

• Planning the production lines new styles implementations.

• Facilitating production performance and past due reports to help the decision making.

• Programming shipping and logistics of the finished goods to the delivery points.

• Tracks and traces, obtains proof of deliveries and monitors time sensitive deliveries and expedite product if necessary.

• Arranging special moves of product requiring special handling.

SCOPE & IMPACT:

The Production Scheduler is responsible for supporting the Production team with accurate and timely reports and schedules. This position supports key metrics of the production process through successful execution of the role’s key responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience or equivalent in planning, production and logistics, including 1-3 years of supervisory/leadership experience

• Advanced excel skills

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1 – 2 direct reports

This role will be working Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 5pm and Friday from 8:30m to 1pm with a 45 minute lunch and located at the end of the M65 Colne.
