Leading B2B Consumer Electronics brand based in Hampshire is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with excellent hands-on skills to join the team.
As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for implementing equipment development technology projects for system upgrades or new platforms. You will have excellent hands-on electrical / mechanical engineering skills and the ability to lead projects from ideation to concept, to engineering, to manufacturing and to delivery.
The key skills required for this role will be:
Degree educated within Mechanical / Electronics Engineering or related engineering subject
Solid understanding of product development and engineering principles
Experience of systems (electrical / electronic, software and mechanical)
Understanding of product assurance and regulatory requirements for electromechanical products
Understanding of technology trends within vending or electromechanical products
This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience of working on systems / mechanisms. You will have global responsibility covering Europe, North America and Asia across all product categories so there may be some global travel required.
