Care Worker Job, Bognor, 3/4 days a week + overtime

This particular service is home to up to 35 residents between the ages of 45 – 110. This home also have achieved the Gold Standards Framework accreditation for the ability to deliver the best care, in line with the residents needs and preferences for those nearing end of life care.

Your new role
Your daily duties will involve general assistance around the home, personal care such as nutrition and hygiene and also being someone to chat to. Learn about the lives of these vulnerable people and hear the many stories they will share with you. You will build a safe environment where the residents feel as though they can trust you and are receiving the best levels of support throughout their time at this home.

Shifts
The typical shifts you will be required to work are either 8am – 8pm during the day or, 8pm – 8am during the night. You will be working 3/4 days a week with overtime available if required.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will need high levels of empathy in-order to connect with these residents and give them the best service. You will have previous experience support vulnerable adults, ideally in another residential setting. You will also be flexible to work the shift patterns you are required to complete, you may also be required to complete night shift when appropriate.
