Charity People are thrilled to be working with this forward-thinking International Charity in recruiting for a proactive and forward-thinking Supporter Care Officer to join their dedicated team.
About the role
As Supporter Care Officer, you will report to the Income Generation Manager. One of the main elements of your role will require confidence in using Raiser’s Edge (CRM), to manage incoming donations and gift aid declarations. You will maintain a disciplined approach towards overseeing compliance, by ensuring that the charity is confirming to relevant bodies and best practice, affecting Fundraising, Operations and Data teams. You will be joining a supportive, friendly team in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same. Relationship building is integral to this position as you’ll be building positive relationships with members in the community, MDA staff members, volunteers, board members and other wider stakeholders in the community.
To manage office administration which will include general office support, finance management with incoming payments, following up on outstanding payments, banking of cash and office procurement.
You will support the Fundraising Managers in the running and success of Gala style dinners/Committees and Other Events. This will include providing technical support for Zoom/Steam Yard online webinars.
You will support the Data & Fundraising teams with administration which will involve certificate preparation and outstanding customer service with all donors to ensure they equally receive exemplary care.
You will create and manage extensive travel and accommodation for the fundraising team, where you may be required to undertake UK travel.
The successful candidate will efficiently manage their core priorities, the needs of multi-disciplinary teams and the expectations of the office. Local and national travel will also be required as well as a strong possibility of international travel.
