Salary from £18,576 to £18,730 pa negotiable based on skills and experience

We’re looking for brilliant care and support workers like you to be based in our brand new state of the art, 5 star, extra care wellbeing hub for over 65’s. Watergate house is still under construction; once complete it will have a roof terrace, a café and its own beauty salon! This extra care service will be home to a number of fabulous one and two bedroom apartments.
You’ll support a various range of customers with personal care tasks, supporting with medication and enabling them to engage with activities they are interested in.

You’ll be caring, flexible with your approach, good communicator and have experience of supporting or caring for vulnerable people. If you have worked in this type of service before that would be amazing, but if not we are able to provide full training!

When you join, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one.
In line with current Government legislation for CQC Registered Care Homes you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated to work in this service, unless you are exempt. A job offer will be subject to providing evidence of this condition of employment.

About our team
We’re also super passionate about supporting customers and celebrating their achievements. To us were not just a team we’re a ‘work family’. Our Registered Manager is Rebekah who has worked with Homegroup for 13 years! You will also work alongside a team consisting of Service Manager, Claire and 3 brilliant Supported Living Coordinators.
You’ll work on a rota basis and take your turn working days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you!
Looking for a more flexible working pattern? You can also join us on a flexible basis by being part of our bank. You can work hours that fit around your current commitments or even pick up some additional shifts to your main role to earn some extra cash and get paid on a weekly basis.
