My client are a manufacturer of consumer goods based in the West Midlands, looking for a talented Website Manager to join their top notch Marketing and Digital team. This is a newly created position and a critical role within the business, as they embark on a huge project of developing all group websites to optimise UX.

The role:

You will lead on website development projects, working collaboratively with their inhouse digital team, and managing external agency relationships to deliver to agreed variable, on time, in budget and to brief
Create website plans and automated email journeys that support business objectives and targets
Work closely with internal stakeholders to use research and analytics to produce an SEO and content strategy
Support marketing colleagues and product teams to ensure website experiences reflect customer journeys, support acquisition efforts and are optimised for conversion
Ensure websites are tracked, managed and optimised, and implement activities that will improve metrics and deliver against agreed targets
Continually monitor website experience based on customer feedback, developing a roadmap for continuous content and UX improvement
Manage day to day website updates, including creating, building and amending pages
Provide leadership and guidance to 1 direct report


Experience of developing website platforms is essential to this role
Excellent understanding of, and experience of developing, content, SEO and CRO programmes
Experience working with CMS (Salesforce)
Ability to manage multiple projects, and experience of Agile working practices
Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal English
